Korea's health system layers several things on top of each other: how hospitals are tiered, what national insurance covers, and which specialty owns which procedure. The answers exist, but they are scattered. This site collects them one entry at a time.
How entries are written
Every entry follows the same shape. A one-line definition sits at the top, followed by the criteria you actually need to decide. Each entry carries the date it was last checked — rules and thresholds change, so when the information was verified matters as much as what it says.

What this site will not do
It does not diagnose or prescribe, and it does not recommend a particular clinic or procedure. Its job ends at organizing information and laying out the criteria; the clinical judgment belongs to a doctor.
Figures and regulatory thresholds come from primary sources — the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the KDCA, the National Health Insurance Service and HIRA. Blog posts and news write-ups are not treated as sources. No guaranteed outcomes, no superlatives, no patient testimonials or before-and-after comparisons.
